Hello ! I'm back with my last sketch challenge card for my hosting month. I hope everyone liked what I came up with. I wanted a rainbow card somewhere in the mix this month, but not to busy.. remember we are a CAS challenge after all. I watercolored a rainbow panel, cut out the center( used for another card) added a die cut sentiment and some nuvo drops. I love rainbow cards, but don't make a lot of them. I hope you will play along with us. See you soon.

Season's Greetings

Hello! I have been working away on holiday cards for weeks now, hoping to have enough for my upcoming craft show and hopefully enough left to send out myself. This is a favorite of mine as it's gorgeous in any color, Iv'e made this in pinks, reds and purple and loved the results of each. Playing along with The Ton's monthly challenge Holiday, I think this fits. Now off to get our Christmas tree, we are in full decorating mode here today.

Hello ! I'm back with a color challenge card for CC&S. It's our 5th Birthday celebration , so I chose colors that felt like birthday celebration colors. I used alcohol inks for the balloons, anyone else try those yet? I really like them, but advice WEAR GLOVES! My fingers were stained for days , nails too. Good thing most of my patients can't see that I had rainbow fingers. I hope you will join in the birthday fun. As you know there are 5 DT members with prizes to give away , how do you win? CCC #26

Hello! I'm here with my final card for Christmas Card Challenges, this will be the blog's final challenge. I've been part of the team for close to 2yrs now and have really enjoyed it and have made lots and lots of Christmas cards. Our theme this challenge is Candy Canes ! I chose this printed watercolor panel from SSS, and used my Zig markers to watercolor it. I hope you will join us one last time.

November challenge

Hello! I found a little time to play along with the November Holiday challenge at  CAS Watercolor challenges. I love snow cards , so I have lots of snowflake dies. This one is a favorite of mine, as it works well for CAS cards. I used some distress inks to watercolor the background, flicked on some white paint, embossed a sentiment and added my snowflake die. I plan to make several of these this Christmas to send out. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello, !st time playing along with The Flower challenge, but since I love floral stamps it's right up my alley. I watercolored this stamp from The Ton, fussy cut it , foam mounted it . Hello ! I'm back with another card for the CC&S sketch challenge, this sketch was inspired by the watercoloring itself. I love the organic look the watercolor takes as it dries. I am a big fan of blues, teals and greens so that is what I went with for this card. I hope you will join in the fun. Be back soon.

Merry Monday #264

Hello, I'm back with a card to share for a new challenge to me, Merry Monday's challenge was Kraft and Red. I right away thought about this poinsettia stamp , I love this stamp. I embossed it in gold , then used some watercolors . I working hard at making lots of Christmas cards right now so playing along with Christmas challenges is what I need to inspire me. Hello, Stopping in with a card to share. I'm just starting to make more Christmas cards, trying to be ready early. I blended some distress oxides for my night sky, I wanted to add snow , but flicking white paint activated the distress inks. So I used a uniball white pen to make snow. The reindeer die is from SSS. I am playing along with AAA blending challenge and Happy Little stampers Anything goes Dies challenge. Thanks for visiting me.

Hello ! It's my month to host the challenges over at CC&S. My 1st challenge is a color challenge. These are some of my favorite colors to use. Color throw down #467

Hello ! It's been a busy weekend for me. My youngest turned 13, so we took him to dinner friday night, he had friends over saturday, and today we had family for his birthday celebration. I made way too much fun, and stressed about the cleanliness of my house WAY too much.  So now that it's super clean after all the celebration I might relax a bit. So i'm taking time to play along with some challenges I enjoy, 1st up is the Color Throw Down challenge. I really liked the colors for this week's challenge and haven't had much time to play along lately. Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome back. This week the challenge at Christmas Card challenge called for you to use a cat .....just so you know I don't like cats at all. I had to go buy this stamp as I had nothing on hand. I made this as a mini-card to try something different. I hope you will join us, I'm sure someone out there likes cats more than I do and will love this theme. LOL!

Blog Hop for Dawn

Hello Lovely! One of my favorite sentiments from the Raspberry suite line , paired with my favorite floral stamp in Raspberry fizz of course. I tried to make a true "Dawn" card to send to her. I love that the stamping community has decided to do this for her. Dawn is one of my 1st blogs I started following when I began my card making journey. I was introduced to PTI through her blog... as thus the addiction began. I hope lots of crafters send their cards to her. Mine is going in the mail tonight. Thanks to Nichole for hosting this hop.

Hello! I'm hiding in my basement away from loud 13yr old boys. They have already ate everything I set out and then some, so I will take some time to myself to craft. I used some alcohol inks for my background, not sure if you should emboss over Yupo paper, but I did . I used snowflake flurry from MFT and the Peace die is an Essentials by Ellen. Playing along with the following challenges : The Classroom Mix up, The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge  #18 Anything goes, and Addicted to stamps and more #266 Anything goes.

Simply Create challenge #133

Hello! I'm back with a card to share for the Simply Create Too challenge. This month our theme is CAS. I used some alcohol ink to make the ombre background and then die cut the sentiment, and finally I added some silver washi tape to complete this card. I could see myself re-creaqting this with different sentiments and colors. That is the nice thing about CAS cards, they easily lend themselves to several occasions. I hope you will join us. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. Now off to celebrate my "baby's" 13th birthday.
